Olympic Stewardship Foundation
- We believe that property owners have a Constitutionally protected right to use and enjoy their property in a responsible way. That includes the right to a reasonable amount of water for homes and food production. We will not quietly tolerate any taking of those rights in the absence of an empirical showing of significant harm, and we will aggressively pursue regaining those rights that have been abridged.
Common Sense Alliance… San Juan County
- Mission: To motivate San Juan County landowners to inform themselves and and the public overall about how the proposed CAO (critical areas ordinance) will effect land use, and values, the social and economic needs of San Juan County communities. Through informed land owners we intend to provide effective testimony in public meetings and hearings, letters to the editor and other public venues that will shape the creation of a Critical Areas Ordinance that balances land owner’s CONSTITUTIONAL rights with protection of critical areas AND THE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC NEEDS OF OUR COMMUNITIES.” (continued)
